I've been called a LOT of things…

January 16, 2010

But never, and I mean never, could anyone ever make the mistake of calling me a Yankee fan. Well, check that, if you didn’t know what the hell is going on in your own state maybe you could….

This is great stuff.

For the first time in my life (although im only 20 years old) I will vote for a Republican. My family is acting like they dont know me anymore but whatever, I’m just voting for the best candidate to help this state and country.

This might be the equivalent of reffering to Osama Bin Laden as a true Patriot and the embodiment of American values. Curt needs to take out a TV ad saying(In bloody sock) “I am Curt Schilling, a Red Sox fan, and I do not endorse this message”. Preceded by Martha’s bumbling interview.

Totally clueless Coakley! I’ve become politically active recently, and I am editing a video to mock Coakley using a SPOOF VIDEO of the popular & funny “iDon’t” commercial done by Verizon Droid against the iPhone!!! Watch out for it! Some phrases will include [iDon’ts refer to Coakley]:
“iDon’t [Coakley] know how to spell Massachusetts”
    “iDon’t like Fenway Park fans”
“iDon’t need to see my constituents to earn their votes”
“iDon’t help people who are assaulted(by using my thugs)”
“iDon’t like campaigning at home (when I can go to glamorous fundraisers)”
“iDon’t mind going to DC to become beholden to big pharma and lobbyists”
    …”Everything iDon’t…Scott Brown Does.”
I’m still refining the text to make it pop. I wonder if there’s more to add…

I already completed a High-Quality VIDEO SPOOF of ObamaCare in the same manner that I will create this one:

Video Title: ObamaCares: iDont Spoof of Droid Commercial–iLove
Compare to the original Droid commercial:

You always be loved by Red Sox Fans and by our State.

Much like CHB’s drivel, Coakley is relying on smears, lies and distortions to win cheap points. The irony is, the Ad Hominem isn’t working.

People here know you. People here know her.

You are loved. She is despised.

You’ve given so much to the fans and more importantly, you’ve given our time, effort and blood to charitable causes most people don’t really know about.

She’s used her position as an Attorney General to abrogate justice to advance her own career. In so doing, she knowingly harmed innocent people including children. It would take such a seared conscience for a person to even think about doing something like this. It’s just evil.

Earth to Attorney General Coakley: may we remind you that Curt Schilling was one of THE reasons why the Boston Red Sox finally got over “The Curse of the Bambino” and won two World Series the last decade–and as such is _beloved_ by Red Sox fans. Upsetting Catholics with that remark about emergency room work is one thing, but upsetting the fervent Red Sox fan base in all of New England is quite something else. Even the late Senator Kennedy–despite his many faults–wouldn’t be dumb enough to upset Red Sox fans like this….

  25. January 16, 2010 9:29 am

Conservatives are often accused of being out of touch with society. It would seem that Ms. Coakley is dead set on showing us that a liberal can put the rest of us to shame in that regard.

The insincerity drips from her mouth as she says “And you know Giuliani is a Yankees fan.” I don’t believe her, it sounds like she’s laughing even as she says it because she knows it’s BS.

Then when she gets to the part about Schill, good God I almost cried I was laughing so hard.

This lady is completely out of touch and is trying desperately to connect with the common people. But let’s face it, Martha, you’re just a rich white liberal elitist who views the common folk as votes and nothing else. Shame on you!

This was purely a mistake and with the accomplishments of her career as a efficient and qualified Attorney General should be seen through a wider lens. You should know better than lambasting her. Your own record through out the years can be highlighted with mediocrity and foot in mouth syndrome but we all remember with sincere awe the way you, against the odds, pulled out a victory. Or let’s discuss the cop now serving two life sentences after raping his 26-month-old niece with a curling iron. Coakley didn’t want to press charges against because his father was a big donor, so her successor did the job instead.

The highly educated Ivy league liberal statists have taken this country down a path that would make our founding fathers turn over in their graves. The Democrats in Congress are completely out of control with their radical, socialized, legislative agenda. It’s time for everyone who truly cares about the future of our country to make their voices heard next Tuesday. Don’t send another Democratic Senator to Washington.

Massachusetts and Boston are where our country’s revolution and subsequent independence from Great Britain began. Anyone supporting Martha Coakley should go out and rent the HBO movie about John Adams and what he sacrificed to help create the United States of America. Hey everybody!! I have had the good fortune of doing business with both Scott Brown and his wife Gail. They were both regular customers at the dry cleaners I managed. I can attest to the fact that they are both stand-up people and extremely pleasant. How do you judge a guy? Look at his family. I’ve probably watched 20 hours of baseball over the past 5 years. I’m not the fan that I used to be. However, one of the last full games I watched was the ‘sock’ game that I saw you pitch.
I remembered how the next day I spoke to a Red Sox fan who was floating on air, and how he explained to me what being a Red Sox fan is… and how completely symbolic that bloody sock was for every Boston fan.
He nearly wept while talking about it.

When I read that comment about you being a Yankee fan, my brain instantly went back to that guy named Curt Shilling that I saw in the close up of him on the mound. I remembered my Red Sox fan, and wondered how any politician could be that clueless.

As a resident of Chicago, its like someone telling me that Walter Payton was a Green Bay fan.

Anyway, its good to see you taking it all in stride. I can’t wait until the start of the next season, because every single one of your fellow players is going to leave a “Yankee” hat for you to wear in your locker.

She really assumed too much, like assuming the people would just vote for her based on her party when she can’t be bothered to shake some hands. But of all her blunders calling Curt a Yankees fan is the most upsetting honestly.

“No Terrorists in Afghanistan” …Okay she’s really really stupid.

Terry–Curt is opposing this healthcare “reform” because he’s intelligent enough to see that it’s a disaster in the making. There’s nothing these knuckleheads in Washington are doing to “fix” healthcare in either version of these bills. They know what the real problems are (e.g. frivilous lawsuits)and aren’t fixing them. This is all about creating another massive entitlement program that will bankrupt this country and give the government more control over our lives. Go Curt, Go Brown!!

I think it is funny that you are upset by this. Since the last time I saw you walking around the Natick Mall, at Christmas, you were wearing a Phillies World Series Hat and a Baltimore Ravens football jearsy, the team the Patriots lost too. Fans should note that nothing you were wearing resembled any of the BOSTON sports teams. It is also amazing that your friend Scott can not sit down with the local news stations to conduct an interview were reporters who will ask questions but has people like you talk for him. At least Martha was having a two way dialogue not something that Scott likes to do unless it is with The Big O and his buddies.

Greg asks “Name one thing he’s done for this country other than pitch. Anything, anything at all.”

    Since you asked:

“Schilling is a supporter of care for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) sufferers. His organization, Curt’s Pitch for ALS, allows fans and organizations to sponsor him, donating to the ALS Association for every strikeout he throws. He also donated to the charity his $25,000 winnings in a celebrity version of Jeopardy! that originally aired on November 9, 2006. In the 2004 playoffs, after the operation on his ankle, Schilling wrote “K ALS” (short for “strike out ALS”) on his shoe, knowing that the cameras would be focusing on his foot numerous times while he was pitching. He also does a weekly radio show with WEEI in Boston that raises over $100,000 each year for ALS patients and research.

In 2007, Schilling released a charity wine called Schilling Schardonnay with 100% of the proceeds supporting Curt’s Pitch for ALS and raised more than $100,000.

Schilling also supports his wife Shonda’s personal charity, The Shade Foundation of America. An organization devoted to eradicating melanoma through education, detection and prevention of skin cancer, and to promote knowledge of sun safety.

In May 2009, Schilling and his wife Shonda announced their support for the Asperger’s Association of New England. The couple stated that they hoped to raise a half-million dollars for Massachusetts General Hospital’s Children’s YouthCare program, a therapeutically-based program that focuses on helping autistic children develop social skills. The Schilling’s son Grant had been diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome in 2007.[39]”

All this from looking up his wiki page in 30 seconds. You easily could have done the same. Of course, that would mean going outside your preconceived notions.

    Hey, Terry M., you plant:

Notice how you use the two words “health care” as if there isn’t any health care provided by medical professionals now. As though millions of Americans — insured, and uninsured — haven’t been availing themselves of the best health care system the world has ever seen. As though by the federal government stepping in to run it, it will somehow be improved.

The day has long past when liberals were smarter than conservatives. I left the Democrat party because of this Obama character, because there was no room left for even moderates, let alone conservatives such as I.

No, liberals are not smarter than conservatives, they’re just more book smart.

You liberals are the problem, don’t you realize it? You hate democracy, because in a democratic society, people that disagree with you actually get the opportunity to speak their views! Shocking! Let me tell you something else: in this great nation, it is possible to be against the elitist, racist agenda of the liberal party without being a bigot, a homophobe, or a right-wing radical.

You are the problem with this country. You are so consumed with hatred for those who don’t share your viewpoint that you have nothing productive to say, nothing to add to the debate or the conversation. You freely accuse someone whom you’ve never met of bigotry and hatred and base it on no facts whatsoever.

Curt, I’ve been a Yankee fan since 1976 (Reggie and Thurman BOTH homered in my first game at Yankee Stadium), and I have to say that your comments about NY infuriated me at the time (though I rightly acknowledge your 2004 Playofs/WS performance as one of the gutsiest in history – for the wrong team).

But now, having righted the (baseball) world order in 2009, the Yankees have exorcised the ghosts of Roided-up Luis Gonzales’ ‘single’ in 2001, the mis-managed Torre loss in 2003 WS, and the debacle of 2004, so all is forgiven.

Back on topic – keep on calling them as you see them. Being a combat Vet I know all about taking fire deep in enemy territory. Coakley would be an embarassment as candidate for dogcatcher and if she pulls it out it will be because of the support of the corrupt Dem machine in MASS, combined with the abysmal ignorance of reality (not to mention economics) of the vast majority of MASS Dem voters.

Lets send them a message nationwide on Tuesday! Go Scott!

  158. January 17, 2010 2:05 pm

Curt, you are not a Yankee fan, but are rather a weasel; same as Giullianni, who is indeed a true Yankee fan, and who came to support Scott Brown, a handsome empty vessel, and a male version of Sarah Palin.

Martha is a wet blanket and her campaign was atrocious, but she’s been a decent AG for Mass, and at least by acting quickly, she’s managed to save the state pension fond from the Wall Street, from the same weasels that this Brown (i.e., a Cosmopolitan nude model) would protect.

If the baseball knowledge is what matters for a public official, then just vote for this fraud from Wrentham, and enjoy the re-run of Bush & Cheney era, which was really “great”…

And yes, Curt, you are a weasel that furtively screwed the Sox for big $s, even though you knew that you could not pitch any longer and that you would go for a career-ending operation right after signing a contract. You kept that quiet from Theo and the Co. The same dishonesty as your buddies from the Wall Street…

So, instead of taking it out on Curt Schilling and Scott Brown of all people, why don’t you go attend psychiatric counseling. Because, it must be miserable being a gay liberal white man who hates people who aren’t like you. When will YOU people accept straight white conservative men? We’re tired of being the scapegoats for your failures.

And WTF has Haiti got to do with anything? Why don’t you visit Scott Brown’s website — you’ll see a prominently featured link for the American Red Cross’s Haiti relief efforts.

  161. January 17, 2010 4:26 pm

So Curt, here is why else you are a weasel: I remember vividly your testimony before the US Senate when you sat together with McGuire, Sosa, Palmeiro, and all other now proven frauds.

You did not dare to attack any of them, but rather attacked Jose Canseco for spilling beans. Well, sadly, that clown has more credibility than you (as an evangelical Christian), and it was he who first pointed to the fact that you baseball players are a bunch of rich crybabies, obscenely overpaid frauds, and now worried that someone will tax your “hard earned” wealth that came from these misguided suckers in this forum that admire you and Scott Brown…

Would you ever see a player like Derek Jeter or Mariano Rivera brag about their world series wins as if it was them who won it and not a team accomplishment? Would you ever see one of them having the time to waste creating a blog where they can run their mouths constantly and look more and more classless every day? Maybe you should be a Yankee fan, Curt, as watching players like that on a daily basis could teach you how to act as a professional or former professional athlete.

I didn’t know comparing you to classy baseball players and showing how you have nothing in common with them would get you so hostile.

And no, noone forced me to click on the link, but like an annoying neighbor who plays his music too loud all the time, you eventually want to go next door and just tell him to shut the hell up.

Number one rule in baseball: KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE BALL. Coakley definitely messed up calling Schilling a Yanks fan. But before you go vote Tuesday, ask yourself: is she running for Senate or baseball commissioner? Please, folks, vote on the actual issues. Don’t let Curt Schilling take your eye off the ball. Schilling isn’t a regular-guy bystander here–he’s campaigning for a politician, a guy who is promising to kill the healthcare reform bill. (Brown can do it, too, because the Republicans are stonewalling every single Dem bill–even funding our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. Yep, the Republicans are against funding the troops now, too.) What’s the Republican plan for healthcare? Vouchers. So costs will keep going through the roof. Try paying for a $13,000/year healthcare policy with your $4000 voucher. And if you lose your job? Nada. Zip. I’m the first to admit the Dems don’t have a perfect plan. But it’s a real plan. And it’ll make a big difference for you and the people you love. Number one rule in baseball: KEEP YOUR EYE ON THE BALL.

Typical Liberal who mouths off and spouts stuff that she has no idea about…she just buried herself.
This is the peoples seat and not the Dems…vote Brown and vote often !

So typical of Dems to beat up someone for driving a pickup truck that by the way is a GMC pickup…Typical, making fun of people because they are not part of the Ivy league educated elite Liberal machine. Libeberal/Dems just dont get it…they will tomorrow.

Coakley is just another ‘politics as usual’ liberal who is NOT needed in Washington. The point is not that she didn’t know who Curt Schilling was – it is that she is so out of touch with her own state and the country. She didn’t even know that the Taliaban was still in Afghanistan! That’s a real red flag and, on its own, should lose her the race! The working people of Massachusetts pay attention to politics and things that affect their pocket and pocketbooks. Did the Democrats not count on that? Bills are being passed in Washington DESPITE opposition of their own constituents. We send politicians to Washington to represent US – the people. They seem to have lost their way and it is time to get them out of there and replace them with the likes of “one of us” – Scott Brown.

She’s a lefty what does one expect. These people live in their own little world where they actually believe “I said it therefore its true”. Yes, out of touch with reality but so is liberalism these days.

Down here in CT. we already dumped CHRI$. Yes We Did YES WE DID!!

Soon, all waitresses in d.c. will be able to do their jobs without fear of SENATORIAL ASSAULT. Yes, Swimmer and CHRI$, co-inventors of the “WAITRESS SANDWICH”

“If anyone is in bed with Wall Street, it is the Dems, just look at who the big wigs on Wall Street send their campaign donations to.”

True dat! And there is no conspiracy there either, it doesn’t take a genius to figure out why. Obama rose in politics through the most corrupt city (Chicago) within the most corrupt county (Crook county) within the most corrupt state (Illinois) faster than any politician ever. It doesn’t take a genius to figure out Obama is a player and not a reformer.

Who cares if Coakley doesn’t watch the red sox. If Coakley loses, people will die. Millions won’t get healthcare. I think Curt Schilling should give up his healthcare plan, along with all senators, until we have universal healthcare.

Curt: I am a big Yankee fan and a liberal, however I would never question your support of Boston. I would go further to say I really admired your efforts in that 2004 series with the Yankess when you pitched with that injury. It disappointed me that anyone questioned that. I love sports and competition and I think your efforts and the comeback by the Red Sox was one of the great achievements in sports history.

Even though you played for a rival and we are probably different politically, I look at you as an American hero as I admire people who stick up for what they believe in and you seem like that kind of person.

hey didnt you name your son after a yankee and demand a trade to the yanks that fell through because the diamondbacks wanted too much but then settled for lyon from the sox and which point you became a yankee hater, again just a thought…

I think mr.Schilling should move back to Anchorage, do his politics in there because in politics he is nothing but a looser, anyone can mix a comment, not neccesarily Ms. Coakley has to be an expert on baseball or other sport, just because he is a famous retired baseball player not everyone has to recognize him. By the way what did he did with all that money he took on his last contract with the Red Sox. Thats a lot of integrity there, because in his deep inside he knows his baseball days were over and still he tricked the Red Sox management pretending he has more live on his throwing arm and hes right arm was death as a major league pitcher.

    Hey Curt,

Missed you at W.O. this year. Just stopping by to say, I almost peed my pants laughing when I saw the clip. “No Clue” Coakley would fit in perfectly in D.C.

As to all the liberal elitists bashing conservatives for some imagined lack of education or enlightenment….

Who was that foxy cashier we used to fantasize about at Lucky’s all those years ago?

Not that Martha knew what she was talking about, but she wasn’t exactly wrong here, Curt. In 2003, you originally were only willing to waive your no-trade clause to be moved to one of two teams, the Phillies and the YANKEES. — 13th paragraph down.

Now maybe you aren’t a fan now, or you never were a fan at all, but you sure didn’t seem to have a problem with wearing the uniform.
