Another gem from Martha Coakley….

January 15, 2010

First is this poll, which I hope has a 0% margin for error (though we know it doesn’t)

Better yet is this response, and I have to ask, is that really your answer to the question????

Read the transcript here….

And just in case you were wondering about ‘qualifications’ or resume and achievements….

I hope that this poll is accurate. It’s about time the independent and fiscal conservative voice was actually heard in this state to allow our two party system to work as designed. I might go cast an absentee ballot this afternoon just in case I have to travel for work next week. Go Scott!!

How can a doctor be morally against giving advice or treatment in areas of contraception or blood transfusions? That’s part of the job. Coakley is a stupid woman for stating it the way she did, but if you’re morally against treatment of this kind, you really shouldn’t be in the ER. These are necessary services for thousands of patients, you can’t have doctors on your staff deny them it.

Based on her disdain for both Catholics and Fenway Park, Ms. Coakley has managed to offend BOTH of the top religions. I can see page one of the newspaper right now. A picture of voters lined up at the polls, wearing their Red Sox caps. The headline reads: “Epic Fail! Coakley Stung by Killer Bs!”

I heard Martha said you were a Yankees fan. The woman doesn’t know a single thing about her own friggin’ state. You Schilling haters keep making excuses for her. I would love to hear your excuses for her blocking a heart transplant donation. Please, let’s hear them. Or better yet, tell us what you like about her besides the fact she’s a Democrat. Let’s hear about the health care reform and the bad bad pharma companies who, btw, are donating large sums to her campaign. Wake the hell up! These aren’t the Dems of JFK anymore.

Dan Rea: Umm Would Barack Obama be in if this thing was not this close?

Martha Coakley: Umm it’s hard to know, I think that he uh is welcome in Massachusetts and I’m sure everybody is happy to see a president come.

    Rea: 62 to 36

Coakley: But I think probably if it weren’t so close Rudy Giuliani would be here and besides he’s a Yankee fan (Laughter) I just want people to know (Laughter)

Rea: Uhhh yeah but now Scott Brown has Curt Schilling

    Coakley: Another Yankee fan

    Rea: Schilling?

    Coakley: Yes

Rea: Curt Schilling a Yankee fan?

Coakley: Nooo, alright I’m wrong on my, I’m wrong,

It’s clear from the negative comments that some of the “fans” have made that they have been converted to the liberal side as a result of looking beyond the sports page of the people republic paper The Boston Globe!! Anyone who reads the trash published in that piece of garbage eventually gets converted to the Liberal Way!! What a joke for a newspaper.

When is Curt Schilling ever going to shut up. Its no wonder his own team mates couldn’t stand him. He cares about nobody but himself, and people like himself who never have to worry about money, bills, stress, and live in there little bubble of a world. Nobody wants to spread the wealth they just want the rich to pay there fair share. Not hide it on dummy business investments where it looks like you losing money, the rich have been playing these games forever. Schilling should have run for office because he is full of s11t too

You guys arent even sports fans,so dont pass it off as if you are. FACT: Coakley took a shot at Fenway, Bruins and Red Sox Fansby dismissing them as unimportant. Unimportant? Who the heck does she think she’ll represent, if not the people? Maybe the school board…maybe politcally tied ex-cops who rape their neices with curling irons (WHO SHE THEN LET OUT ON BAIL AS AG).

And now she has taken yet another shot at Red Sox Fans calling OUR WSC Pitcher, Curt Shcilling, a Yankee FAN!!! She went onto explain that her favorite Red Sox player was BABE RUTH!

Schill is right on the mark, despite these blogging blow-hards whining from the mother’s basement!

Coakley turned on Fenway. Schilling turned on her. Nuff said. I am with Schill.

And who said Without Coakley the Republic is doomed? Stupid, the people were against Stimulus 80% to 20%, against Omnibus the same, and are against healthcare too. Dont you see? The Republic is supposed to be representative of the PEOPLE’s will. Not factions there of.

Coakley just said at an interview on WBZ that Rudy Giuliani should not be considered a credible backer of Scott Brown because he was a Yankees fan….excuse me, didn’t she just have Clinton from NYC come here to stump for her? Her second vapid comment was to say that Curt Schilling, who backs Scott Brown, is also a Yankee Fan. Astounded, the interviewer said “Curt Schilling of the bloody sock, World Series a Yankee Fan?” She said “yes, yes oh wait, maybe I have my facts wrong”….Oh yes Martha, you continue to amaze us with your knowledge of Massachusetts (without the extra e) and of your connection with people. What a lame candidate! Ladies I urge you to vote character, not the chromosome.

You are a great baseball player, but it a strength to know your weaknesses.
First you are out stumping for George W (thanks for that) then you are out commenting on sound bites, not the issues.
Every one misspeaks and makes mistakes-even you and me! Why can’t we look at substance-real issues. I bet if we looked at only one of your pitches there just may have been a few duds.
If you want to use your soap box for politicing do you think you may want to look at the big picture–Frankly I think electing someone who knows and is passionate about policy is a better than electing someone who knows sport stats, ‘drives a (gas guzzling-dependent of foreign oil) truck’ and is a nice guy to have a beer with.
Agree or disagree w the candidates either one should be looked at as a whole. Off season must be killing you, nothing to do but nit pick, Yes, I will vote for Martha- not perfect by far but I can not get over the water boarding is not torture and the we don’t want to spend taxes but we need to fund a war (lets pay the troops too–what a concept)

BTW @ Curt Schilling – calling you a Yankees fan and then trying to justify it with “he’s not there anymore” you wanted to slap her for that one.. and you wouldn’t be alone there. Dan Rea should have thrown her off the program right there.

The point isn’t whether or not Curt is a Yankees fan (we all know he’s not). The point is that Martha is so out of touch with the average citizen from MA. Martha wants to be another “rubber stamp” for the current administration. If your happy with all that is going on in Washington, happy with Pelosi and Harry Reid, then you should vote for Martha. If you feel that we can do better, that we deserve someone who will represent the citizens of MA, and not pay blind allegiance to the “leadership” in Washington, then Scott Brown is your man. If you want the Government to pick where and when you get health care, to decide what Dr you must see, and to dictate what services you deserve, then Martha’s your choice.
If you would like to make those decisions yourself, in conjunction with a Dr _you_ choose, then Scott Brown shares your views. Its all a matter of whats important, to you.

To all that commented on this page, it would be wise to just read the facts that are every where. If you are going to the polls on Tuesday, please know what the facts are BEFORE you pull the lever and cast your vote. Know what the issues are and know where the candidates stand. Make informed choices and not emotional or party choices.

By the way, Curt Schilling has been a stand up guy no matter who he pitched for, (we also loved him in Arizona) and for all that doubt Curt Schilling’s ability to write about things political, do your homework, he could have been the one who was running against Coakley. I wish he were…

Please, please do not stay home from voting. Do not be bought off with crap like “this is Kennedy’s seat, Obama’s legacy, Democrats must win, if you are Union you must blindly vote Dem etc etc….Say “we the people have had enough spending, closet deals, bail outs, healthcare that is about control and not reduced costs and most of all LIES!”…Say it with a vote for Scott Brown.

Last Nov here is NJ I was told that Chris Christie( Republican) could never upset the incumbent Democrat Corzine for governnor. Well Obama came, Biden came, Clinton came, Kerry came, Schummer came…they all came to support Corzine as they are for Coakley now. And the people…not as Democrats or Republicans…but as citizens sick to death of big budget spending Liberals taxing us to death…said NO…enough. And when the dust settled Corzine was gone. It can be done…stay the course…say …NO MORE Liberal Taxing and Spending and Lying…vote for Scott Brown.

Scott Brown says it’s the people’s seat? How come Health Insurance stock is rising on the expectation he might win? They’re hoping for no reform because they want to keep sticking to the common man and keep the status quo. Just like the Banking industry is hoping for no Consumer Protections and no regulations and Scott Brown is THEIR man… another Republican Schill who’s running as the “common man” when in fact all of his decisions have been to hand Corporations the control of the common man’s life.

Curt Schilling needs to stop feeding off of the common man’s dream and stop spreading Republican lies.
