Please help!

September 9, 2009

If there was ever a cause, ever a family that could use the love, care and help of a community, a state, it’s this one. Chuck and Maureen Palermo have had to do the unthinkable. As parents they’ve had to bury 2 of their 3 children in the past 2 years. Dan passed away in August of 2007, shortly after he graduated from Medfield High School. Their 15 year old daughter Lisa passed away 14 months later.

As a father of 4 kids I cannot, and pray I never have to, fathom the pain they have endured. Their third child Mark, a student at UMass Amherst, is hoping to become a candidate for a double lung transplant. Cystic Fibrosis is a killer, the Palermo’s need your help. Please, if you can, be it time, money or awareness, reach out and help by using this website!

Will keep this family in our hearts and prayers, Mr. Schilling. We share your genuine concern for them. Thanks for sharing the link/website above so your readers may make a difference/contribution on their behalf.

    Curt,

Well said! My dear wife, Susan, (who is from Marion, Mass) and I lost our 2nd child to SIDS. We have had the honor and priviledge to walk other couples through this very difficult time. I am reminded that one greater than me lost his only Son and that makes couples who lose a child in a special fraternity with our Heavenly Father.

Curt, I would be honored if you would connect with me on LINKEDin. http://www.linkedin.com/in/jrrysinclair My email address is jrrysinclair [at] aol [dot] com Thank you…GO RED SOX…God bless.

Curt, Thank you very much for promoting our event on your blog and for your personal support. The Palermo family is very special and an inspiration to all who know them. I am happy to let you know that our event for this Saturday, featuring the comedy of Jimmy Tingle has sold out as of this morning!

In addition I would like to thank you for the opportunity to make people aware of just how devastating Cystic Fibrosis is to the families that have it.
