Here we go with the last wave of match-ups for the first round of the Pitchers Bracket Challenge, figuring out who is the best pitcher of the post World War II era. Here are the results to date:

    Wow, retirement is pretty boring huh? This bracket thing is a waste of time. I do like to hear your opinions about the SOX though. And I especially like when you rip on CHB. Did you happen to read his recent article about Tom Brady…’Man about town’? He’s such a tool.

    Hey, Meat, no Bob Lemon? And Billy Pierce gets no love: I consider him equivalent to Don Drysdale, but without the famous teammate.

    Like the concept. I don’t know how this “Andy Pettite” guy got a 12 seed. I do know that Andy Pettitte was/is a pretty good pitcher.

    sucks that you’re up against randy johnson in the third round, would have liked to see you go farther in the bracket

    Yeah, that’s true. You say “post-WWII era”, but a lot of the guys from right after the war–late 40s and 50s–are getting the shaft.

    Was this idea just scrapped? I have been checking for an update and we have not seen anything for almost 3 months.
