May I remind you that next week at the dinner,one of the greatest moments for the team being honored is you pitching,bloody sock and all,and bringing the Red Sox to a World Series win. I do hope,as I have stated,that you return to pitch once again next year,with the Red Sox,so you can include yourself with the great pitchers of the season to come,but do keep in mind that the New York Mets also need pitching,we really need help,and you would be an incredible addition to the team. You and Santana pitching would be a fantastic combination. That said,I have always supported certain individual players,regardless of what team they play for,and you fit into that category,always. You will always have my support,wherever you go..but do not keep counting yourself out as being one of the greatest!

I too am a Philly but am still here. I can tell you that the city has been electric since Wednesday night. The parade was amazing: the weather was beautiful and everyone in the city was of one accord. We, the Philly fans, get a bad rap, but today our pride was peacefully apparent in the kindness that we showed to one another. This was definitely Philly’s Red October.

In my over 40 league I have lost a bit off my fastball, so am looking for some pitches to complement a mediocre (if that) fastball. I have a cutter, a 2 seamer, and a splitter. I’d like to add a curveball. Be interested to hear if you have any instructional videos or could recommend any for us old guys out here.

I’ve played it and was left unimpressed..NBA 2K9 is clearly superior.

Also – NHL ’09 is the best non-Madden sports game out there. It may even be better than Madden.
