Yavapai Junior College? How interesting... from 1984-1986 i was living in Prescott Valley, and my grandpa took me to a lot of those baseball games. Although i was pretty young i wonder if i ever saw Mr. Schilling pitch.

Anyway, Curt if you're reading this... do get well. Hands down you have always been my favorite player. While other kids went through the McGwire, Canseco, Ryan, Griffey stages. I've always remained a Schilling fan.

Hoping to that the Red Sox will come to Sarasota, FL. And i'll definately see you pitch.

I hope that the surgery is going well. My name is Wyatt and I'm 12 years old. I am playing in the 4th Annual CytRx Strike Out Lou Gehrig's Disease All Star Tournament. It is a baseball tournament that helps to raise money to find a cure for ALS. I've played in this tournament for three years and this is my final year playing. This year Easton is sponsoring a Hit-A-Thon that allows me and other players to raise money for ALS. Your jersey is one of the prizes for the top earners, as you might already know. I am a Red Sox fan and hope to see you playing again soon. Last year we helped to raise $80,000. This year we are hoping to raise even more. If anyone could help to support me that would be great.
Here's a link to my site where you can donate

Hey Curt! Hope you are feeling better and recovering well. I sure miss seeing you walking out to the mound! Thanks for everything you have done for Red Sox Nation. If you are able to come back, I sure hope it's for the Sox. If it's for someone else, I wish you well there too. You're an inspiration ... in fact, I'm going in for surgery Wednesday and I'm wearing my Curt Schilling T shirt!

With the down time you have as a result of your recent surgery, would you have any time to visit with some veteran's? Our motorcycle chapter is hosting a BBQ for the veteran's who reside at the Bedford Veteran's Quarters on the grounds of the Bedford VA Medical Center, on July 19.
Curt,

Thank you for your contributions on both a personal and professional level. I hope you make a complete recovery from surgery. However, if your pitching days are over you'll no doubt be busy with other great endeavors.

Warm wishes to your and your family,

Curt,
Thank you for being the honest and straight forward man that you are. Saying things occasionally that you wish you hadn't said, or wish you'd said differently is something we can all relate to. It makes you human! Something a lot of "A" athletes seem to forget.

Thank you for playing the game with the integrity and intensity of someone who recognizes the blessing they've been given.

I hope to see you in Red Sox uniform again, someday, someway!
