mr schilling. You are a true sports hero and a great person. i will never forget 2004 and 2007.

now on to serious things. i would like to help with ALS. i currently work for the sisters of notre dame. i cook for the nuns on a daily basis in their provincial home. they do lots of charity events and i would like to get one organized for ALS and have the proceeds go to the chapter in with which your involved. when you get time and feel better i would like to somehow be involved in helping donate time and money to find a cure for this terrible disease.

Hi Curt
My son Kyle is 18 and a pitcher for Plymouth Post 40 Legion team. He was pitching a game last Sunday ,had a great first inning 123 .Second inning first pitch his humerous snapped in half he went down. Everyone in the stands heard the snap. He is supposed to be going to college in the fall for pitching Div II. Kyle is very depressed and nervous about ever pitching again. We are trying to find some positive reinforcement to help him get his head back in the game. If you have any information or suggestions it would be greatly appreciated since you are the #1 pitcher.

Hi Curt, It has been 22 years since our days with the Greensboro Hornets. I have an 8 year old daughter who loves baseball and her favorite player is you. She has Downs syndrome and has twisted my arm to write and find out how your (in her words) boo is doing. I hope you are doing well.

Curt – I wish you well on your surgery tomorrow. Regardless of the outcome you will forever be remembered for what you accomplished with the Boston Red Sox and your entire baseball career. Those memories will be with us all forever. You have been a success in baseball and in the private business sector. You have been a role model for our children and shown them what hard work and perserverence can do. Whatever the future brings I ask God to bless you and your family and to bring you continued good fortune. Should that future involve politics as a Senator from Massachusetts, we would all be better off.

You are great! You came to Boston because you wanted to win a World Series Championship. You brought with you all of the things that were lacking in previous attempts. You did not simply want to win, You went up to that mound and MADE your victory. You now live in the hearts of all of Red Sox Nation, from 3 years old to 108 years old, we LOVE YOU.
I hope you have yet one more miracle to pull out of your bloody sock. I hope you can pitch this team back to the World Series, and yes WIN AGAIN!!!! I believe you can do it.
Red Sox Management should (and will) Roll out the money carpet to get you back for whatever length of time is needed.
Curt, you must know, WE LOVE YOU!!! Not only for winning the World Series (but mostly) but for all these other things as well.

Curt, I must forgive you for being a Republican. I wish you were a Democrat, but I will let that slip by, knowing that we have one of the Greatest Pitchers in the History of Baseball wearing a Red Sox Uniform. Not just Great, but Feared, and Loved, and Respected on both sides of the Diamond.

See ya Curt, Don’t let the door hit you in the ass or shoulder on the way out. You were a good pitcher and I would have respected you as an opponent if you had never opened your fat mouth. Truthfully if I could play divine healer I would give you 5 more years of pitching and maybe even another world series if at the end I would never have to hear your words or thoughts again. Just wishful thinking.
