I recently went to a Brooklyn Cyclones game. There was a player there named Micah Shilling who number 38....any relation?

Curt, give more updates about your game studios please.

Also I like the fact that you are getting rest... I hope you will pitch as well as you have in September and October.

Hey, what do you think about a pitcher who is injured, doesn't tell anyone, then goes out and pitches batting practice until the manager finally comes to his senses and yanks him?

Is he a "gamer" to be admired? Or an insecure, selfish guy who puts his own ego above the needs of the team?

As opposed to a first baseman who feels some stiffness and sits out now so he can play down the stretch when it really counts.

Just got around to reading the last half of the posts and had to point out to #110 and others who wonder about the propriety of steroid injections and performance, that carried to an extreme we could rule out the athletic accomplishments of anyone who has had Tommy John surgery, or any diabetics like Sal Bando who took insulin if we wish to be absurd. There is usually a pretty good reason certain substances are considered illegal and it is in a totally different category than using the benefits of our modern medicine and surgery.

Curt -

Made the drive from NJ to Boston today for the game. Nice win for the team, and even nicer to see you long tossing in the outfield before the game. It appeared you were throwing as far as 100 feet. Hope that's an indication you're feeling better.
