Hey Curt…Not sure if I am supposed to post anything like this or not. I like you blog…more players should do it.

Anyway, Curt, tough break on the injury. It’s heartening, as a fan, to see how great a position that the brass has put the team in, regarding its ability to compensate for injuries, though. This is the first time in a long, long time, that I as a fan have felt complete confidence that our farm hands can come in and fill slots capably on the ML roster. While it sucks seeing you riding the DL, it’s exciting to get a glimpse at the depth of the organization.

Take your time and get the shoulder right. I’ll be looking forward to seeing more October Schilling.

With all these comments saying, “get well soon,” “we are all praying for a speedy recovery,” etc, you’d think that Curt has some serious illness and is in the hospital, instead of a simply being a 40 year old pitcher who is past his prime with not unexpected shoulder soreness. The decision by the Sox to not give in to his contract demands in spring training is sure looking like the right move now.

Hi Curt hope you sholder feels better when you get back. I am glad there was no major damage in your sholder. When you get back you will pitch great!!!!!!!!. You are a big part of the Red Sox. How is Papelbon’s sholder doing Curt? Is Kevin Youkils going to be on the All Star team? He should be. He is having a great year!!!!!!!. Is Jon Lester going to be called up while you are on the disabled list Curt? Take care Curt and get well soon. I will miss seeing you pitch while you are on the disabled list Curt.

Ok Curt…you said you didn’t feel physically bad during your start, but you’re on the DL now. What gives? What’s going on here? You’re pretty honest in your blog, let us know what’s up. You only blog after each start–since that’s gonna be a while–give us an update on your arm. So how do you feel about pitching next year now? Does this have anything to do with the fact that you didn’t get an offseason workout this year? Did the complete game 1 hitter hurt you?

Because of what has happened this year do you alter the asking price for next year? Does this have any impact on your decision to pitch next year?

It’s June 23rd…hope we hear from you soon.

Skankfan22 you should have waited until after the Skankees played the Rockies…..LOOK WHO SUCKS. Also Clemons looked great in his last outing, worth every penny he Squeezed…… out of George !! Ha !!!!!!!!
