I know it was way over your head...what I meant by Miss Pedrhia or whatever the name is..all the whining by her...complaining about strike calls, staring at umpires and making stupid threats to AROD when hes been in the majors for no more than a couple of weeks, but I know thats too complicated for you too understand...Im really looking foward to your comments..let the biting begin...enjoy...ps ... I complimented Mr Schilling on his blog, I think more players should have something like this to kind of touch base with the fans..If you can read, its pretty clear that I didnt insult Schilling or his blog.

In response to the person above me:

Let's go back to 2005 the Fenway Home Opener when the Sox received their rings. Every single Yankee player and coach was out there watching and applauding the ceremony. How quickly we forget the classy things they do.

As far as A-Rod: the "I got it" never happened. Watch the replay, he yelled out "HAH" or something along those lines, his mouth only moved once. I know that if I was in his position I would've done the same thing. Just like many other people would.

Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of classless Yankee fans, and there have been moments that have made me annoyed to be a Yankee fan, but you can't tell me that there aren't Sox fans that do the exact same thing. Because we all know that there have been incidents over the past few years where Sox fans got violent (see guy along the wall punching Sheffield). What I'm getting at is that the 2 fan bases overall are great fan bases, but there are classless fans everywhere.

Curt - Whats the chance of you even reading post # 378 on an entrie that is somewhat dated at this point? Who knows...but anyways thanks for the blog and the time you put into it Schill - I do hope it does not distract you or hinder your performance in any way...if you at any time feel that it may - then as a fan of you but more importantly the Red Sox - I would have no problem with you not doing it. But thanks for the effort you are making to make Red Sox Nation a tighter family between the fans and the players. I have noticed mlb.com has started several blogs now including Kevin Youkilis...looks liek the league is following your example at this point Schill.

ATTENTION YANKEES FANS - Some analysis based upon your overall classless presence on this site.

Whats nice is seeing the true class of Yankees players on the field like with Alex Rodriguez. Lets go with 3 examples: #1) His Hamburger Helper slap on the glove running to first base in the 2004 ALCS = No Class. #2) His slide which never was even oreinted at 2nd base and the following elbow thrown at Dustin Pedroia this past series = No Class (and yes "evilempirerules" Dustin Pedroia may have only 10 games in the majors at 23 years of age but I guarantee that's a lot more of a signficant achievement than anything you have done in your life to this point or probably ever will from the sounds of your immature rant) and lastly and most recent #3) A-Rod's classless pretend call off "I got it" as he passed behind the Blue Jays 3rd baseman in 2 out 9th inning pop-up which caused a run to score and kept the Yanks alive (justice was served as they still lost the game). No one will doubt A-Rod's dedication to his team but no one also can doubt his lack of class while doing so.

And by many of the classless comments put on this blog by Yankees fans taking free shots at one of the greatest pitchers to ever play the game - it shows how many Yankees fans (see "evilempirerules") exhibit the same LACK OF CLASS as their players.

I am sure Yankees fans and guys like A-Rod sleep well at night...I sleep better at night knowing that there is no B on their hat.

Forgive me if I'm late to the party, but I just wanted to address something John Dennis said on the radio. My Webster's 3rd New Int. Dictionary (It's right cuz it's BIG) gives the following as definition 2b:

"continuing activity and functional behavior that tend to determine eventual status esp. as to progress or decadence"

So the use of the phrase "control our own destiny" is just fine.

As a yankees fan I appreciate your blog where I can leave my thoughts and concerns. My concern today is about your second baseman, whats his name? pedrohia...whatever...complaining about Arod giving him an elbow on a slide?...I see girls softball be rougher than that.Maybe he should watch some of the old games when Cobb would slide in punching and kicking or Piniella bowling over Brett at third base. For somebody that has maybe 10 games in the mayors saying that he is going to drop his slot next time he comes down, its kind of absurd.Listen tell your boy that next time Arod comes into town,Arod is going to need somebody to carry his bags and Jeters and Mo's while hes at it.
Enjoy this season, looks like it will cost Joe his job or at least it should for gift-wrapping that sweep/choke job in 2004.

Curt,
I have faith in your ability to bounce back. The Yankees may be having one of the most dis-appointing years (to them and their fans) in the history of baseball, but they still have a dangerous batting line-up. I'm looking forward to watching your next victory.

well I have to ask is extra work in the bullpen going to help and if so is there anyone who knows you better than you? It sounds like extra work and more side sessions will help in the long run. The team needs you but they are going to need you more in the end .
