Curt,

Good stuff. I have been very lucky to have coached high school baseball in the past and I love the insight you are giving. I can not wait to catch up to everything else as I continue to get caught up on your posts.

Thanks Again.

I have followed your career for a while now and the only blemish on your record is that you are not pitching for the Yankees. As a Christian I was happy to see that you also turned your life to Christ. As a big baseball fan, I'm not by any means of the imagination "start struck" but, after coach John Wooden, whom I had the privilege of meeting in person, you are the only athlete/sport personality I would enjoy meeting.

Best of luck in the coming season.

Thank you SO much for the blog, Curt. All of your fans, and that means pretty much everyone in New England, are so excited that you are taking the time to post in such detail and with such clarity and enthusiasm. I'll read your blog every day and know that I am getting the real deal (who would know better than you?!). Thank you for being such valued member of the Red Sox. Let's see another World Series this year. It's been too long!!! :)

Hi Curt,
I just think that this blog that you are doing is a great idea, it gives us fans the perspective right from the horses mouth so to speak, without having the media middlemen.Good luck on the upcoming season, and I think that it is terrific all the charity work that you and Shonda do in the Boston area. Stay healthy, and I hope to see you on the mound in a Red Sox jersey in 2008! God Bless You!:)

Hi Curt....Great to be able to read about what is really going on in "warm" Florida! (It's REALLY cold at home!) I still smile every time I drive down Rt 27 as I pass your driveway remembering all the signs that decorated the entry. I wish you a fabulous year...both in health and in your ERA.
I also must tell you that I admire your dedication to ALS. My nephew, who lives in nearby Norfolk, suffers from SMA, the same as young William who you met during the "Extreem Makeover". Our Conner just turned 5 but has a far more severe form of SMA. Have you any suggestions for getting this disease into the public eye? It is so much like ALS, but it happens to the young rather than the adults.
As a kid, I spent many happy hours at Fenway. My Uncle Jack Reilly was the traveling secretary for the team. I remember one happy afternoon having a Shirley Temple with Rico and Yaz in Mr. Yawkey's clubhouse.
I thank you for letting my Uncle finally celebrate the ultimate victory!
